Aces pound Dyip behind Harris’ 44 points

The Alaska Aces overwhelmed Columbian Dyip, 104-94, in the 2018 PBA Governors’ Cup, on Wednesday at the Cuneta Astrodome.

Alaska asserted their dominance throughout the game, even leading by as much as 20 points.

Columbian tried to cut deficit into single-digits in the late period, but the Aces pulled out all the stops to claim the victory.

Mike Harris recored 44 points and grabbed 27 rebounds to lead Alaska back to the winning column. Vic Manuel added 16 points while JV Casio contributed 11.

Alaska forced a tie with Blackwater Elite at the third spot, both owning a 6-2 win-loss record.

Meanwhile, Akeem Wright posted 19 points and 15 rebounds while Jackson Corpuz had 19 markers for the Dyip.

Columbian has yet to win a game on their seven outings this season-ending conference.
