Creamline Cool Smashers needed just 67 minutes to beat PayMaya High Flyers in straight sets, 25-19, 25-20, 25-11 to rule the 2018 PVL Reinforced Conference at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Alyssa Valdez led the Cool Smashers with game high 19 points in sweeping the High Flyers in the best of three title series.
Kuttika Kaewpin and beauty queen Michele Gumabao added 12 points apiece for Creamline.
Jia Morado was chosen as the Finals Most Valuable Player. Considered as the best setter in the country, Morado’s brilliance proved too much for the High Flyers as she accounted for 29 masterful sets in Game 2.
Tess Nicole Rountree paced the High Flyers with 12 points but received minimal support from her teammates to yield the title.
Earlier, Myla Pablo of Pocari Sweat-Airforce bagged the regular season MVP award while Valdez was chosen as the Best Outside Spiker.
