Ish, Majoy to make the most out of last year
Prior to the start of the season, graduating players Ish Polvorosa and Majoy Baron vowed to go all out in their last playing year for their respective schools.
Lady Spiker Majoy is excited for what the season has in store for them.
Majoy’s excitement cannot be contained when the reigning MVP unloaded a team-high 19 points in their five-set, opening day duel against a gritty Tigresses’ side. The following week, she dished out 9 markers, highlighted by four blocks in their close game against the Lady Maroons.
For Ish, it’s all about giving his all for his final season in with the Eagles.
Ateneo was on the receiving end of an upset on opening weekend, getting drubbed in straight sets by a hungry FEU team. Shook by the loss, the Eagles regained confidence after winning against rivals NU Bulldogs last Wednesday.
They continued to run through the competition, beating the Tiger Spikers in straight sets in their latest outing. Ish dished out 34 excellent sets in that game.
Ish Polvorosa (@ishpolvorosa) leads his team to victory against UST with 34 out of 60 excellent sets.

MVP Majoy and Best Setter Ish have their work cut out for them this season. Would they repeat their achievements in the home stretch of their UAAP run? More importantly, would they repeat as champions in their respective tourneys?
