Kiefer Ravena comes to aid of ailing Joey Mente

Kiefer Ravena recently joined a charity golf tournament to help defray the mounting hospital bills of a former San Miguel player, Joey Mente.

The 5-foot-10 native of Samar, who played for SMB from 2001 to 2005, was diagnosed with two tumors – one on his head and chest – and is currently undergoing chemotherapy.

Manong was part of the charity game held on March 27 at the Valley Golf And Country Club.

Aside from the proceeds from this golf tournament, Mente’s former San Miguel teammates recently pooled some cash from their own pockets to help him battle the Big C.
