PBA makes way to The Jet-Erika romance

88

Seven-time PBA champion Jeffrey “The Jet” Cariaso has scooted his way to the heart of the gorgeous PBA courtside reporter Erika Padilla.

The new couple was seen in a vacation together in San Francisco, posing beside the Golden Gate bridge, going shopping, eating with friends, going on a date night and of course, taking couple selfies.

Cariaso, who won a rare Grandslam (Three straight PBA titles) with Alaska in 1996, has four kids from his previous marriage: Javie, Jay, Aya, and King. The 10-time PBA All-Star, 1995 Rookie of the Year and the four-time PBA Mythical Team member now serves as the Assistant Coach of Alaska Aces after retiring in 2010.

The FHM cover girl and actress Padilla, on the other hand, has never been married.

Sports 5’s Aaron Atayde said it best in a few words.

“Yun yun eh!,” Atayde said of his couple friends.

But since Cariaso is still a part of Alaska Aces’ coaching staff, this would mean that Padilla would still have to report on her boyfriend’s team’s strengths, weaknesses, success and failures.

Do you think The Jet will eventually melt Padilla’s heart for objectivity? Or will Padilla rise to the challenge and tell the truth without compromises? (Jen Soltano)
