PH women’s volleyball fly to Thailand for AVC Cup
Philippine National Women’s Volleyball team flew to Thailand for the upcoming 2018 Asian Women’s Volleyball Cup slated from September 16 to 23.
Skipper Aby Maraño will banner the team, together with Mika Reyes, Cha Cruz-Behag, Mylene Paat, Denden Lazaro and Maika Ortiz.
Meanwhile, Alyssa Valdez, Jia Morado, Jema Galanza and Melissa Gohing are already in Thailand as part of their preparation for Creamline Cool Smashers.
The team added new faces to the team in the likes of veteran Aiza Maizo-Pontillas, Jasmine Nabor and Gretchel Soltones.

Setter Kim Fajardo will miss the event due to knee injury while Major Baron, Dawn Macandili and Kim Dy are all in New York as part of their incentives winning the UAAP Season 80 women’s volleyball crown.
The Philippines is at pool C with Kazakhstan, Iran and Australia.
