While they may now be opponents on the pitch, outside the game of football, these three former and present Kaya FC team captains remain the best of friends.
On Instagram, Kaya FC posted a photo of Anton del Rosario, Masanari Omura, and Aly Borromeo. “A trio of Kaya captains,” the post said.
Anton now plays for Ilocos United FC.
On his personal account, Anton reposted the same photo, saying: “Thick and thin, ups and downs, same team or not, will always have your backs.”
Aly also shared the photo, as he expressed how thankful he is for the friendships they formed in their 20s.
“Our careers as professional players may be short, but friendships made through sport will last a lifetime,” Aly said.
