Volleybelle to run for SK
“Serve the people!” is the battle cry of the University of the Philippines. And one Maroon volleybelle decided to take this to heart.
It appears that former Lady Maroon Nicole Tiamzon will bring her leadership from the court to the public as she is set to run in the upcoming Sangguniang Kabataan elections.
Sienans, support the candidacy of one of our notable alumni, Nicole Tiamzon as SK Chairman of Brgy. San Isidro, Taytay, Rizal!

The Sangguniang Kabataan has been a controversial institution for very much of its existence. Yet, it’s targeted towards the youth to go and serve their local communities.
A stellar player for UP back in her collegiate days, Nicole is also known for her grassroots volleyball program that earned UNESCO’s recognition.
She found success on the court. Could the same be said for public office?
