LOOK: Andy Gemao trains alongside Klay Thompson

Former Colegio de San Juan de Letran Squires winger Andy Gemao recently had a unique opportunity to share the court with Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson.

This came after the Filipino cager enlisted the services of Thompson’s personal coach, Charlie Max Torres, as his skills trainer in the United States.

According to a post by A Skillz Basketball, Gemao wasted no time and immediately began working just three hours after his arrival in the US.

The high-flying 6-foot guard is striving to earn a scholarship at Veritas Academy National Prep, a Nike Elite high school located in Malibu, California.

Gemao boasts impressive statistics from his one-and-done stint with the Squires, with averages of 18.91 points, 7.09 rebounds, 2.91 assists, and 2.18 steals per game.

His consistent performance played a pivotal role in the Squires’ capture of the NCAA Season 98 Juniors Basketball championship last year.
