A weird feeling, says Mocon on facing ex-San Beda teammate Bolick

Seeing his former teammate Robert Bolick on the other side of the court feels weird for Jayvee Mocon.
The two were the pillars in San Beda University’s three-peat in the NCAA from 2016 to 2018.
“Ang weird e, weird feeling,” Mocon said aftert his Rain Or Shine Elast Painters thwarted Bolick’s NorthPort Batang Pier on Friday night.
“(Dati), every game, lagi kaming nagtutulungan tapos ngayon, bakbakan na sa loob. It’s all business na talaga when we’re on the court,” Mocon shared.
In their first faceoff in the PBA, Bolick had the better numbers with 9 points, 6 assists, and 2 rebounds. For his part, Mocon put up 2 markers, 2 boards, and a dime.
The mark on the win column, however, went to Mocon and the Elasto Painters.
Asked how it felt to go up against Mocon for the first time, Bolick said: “Wala. Walang feeling kasi talo.”
