AD ‘feels fine’ after rolling his ankle in Game 4
Anthony Davis rolled over his ankle with over six minutes remaining in the Lakers-Nuggets Western Conference Finals matchup, but he walked it off and finished the rest of the game.
AD helped the Lakers hold off the Nuggets, 114-108, to claim a 3-1 series lead by scoring game-high 34 points.
When asked about the status of Davis’ ankle, Lakers head coach Frank Vogel was vague about his update saying that “there is always concern”.
However, the All-Star big man assured that he feels just fine.
“Ankle feels fine,” Davis told reporters post-game.”I got tonight, tomorrow, before the [next] game to get it back to where it is, but good enough to play.”
“Rolled it pretty bad, but not too bad. I’ll be fine.”
Regarding Davis’ status in Game 5, we will all just wait and see whether he is cleared to suit up or not.
