The Alaska Aces have already been practicing with their new import, less than a month before the PBA Commissioner’s Cup opens.

The Aces has reportedly tapped 6-foot-10 big man Chris Daniels.

Daniels is coming off a stint with Lebanese club Al-Riyadi. He won the 2016 FLB League championship in his first duty with the club.

The 35-year-old has played in club teams in the Korean Basketball League, the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (Puerto Rico), the Jordanian Premier Basketball League, and the Chinese Basketball Association.

He won two KBL championship and an NBA D-League title during his stateside return in 2013.

He was signed by the Brooklyn Nets in 2015, but only appeared in five preseason games.

Last season, the Aces tapped Antonio Campbell and Diamon Simpson where they are eliminated in the semifinals by eventual-runners up San Miguel.
