ALEXANDRA Eala and American Coco Gauff took a brief break from the tennis circuit as the two stars were spotted enjoying gelato together at the sidelines of National Bank Open Tournament in Toronto.
A video shared by Eala on her TikTok account showed her and Gauff smiling and enjoying a relaxed moment away from competition.
The off-court encounter came following a contrasting outcome of their Toronto tournament matches.
Eala bowed out in the round of 16 after losing to Belinda Bencic of Switzerland, while Gauff moved on to the semis via walkover against Bencic.
The Filipina tennis sensation is now gearing up for the WTA 1000 tournament Cincinnati Open, where she is the No. 17 seed.
The brief gelato moment offered Eala a chance to unwind after a demanding stretch of competition as she prepares for another WTA 1000 event. (Adrian Co)
