The recent championship of Filipina tennis sensation Alex Eala holds special significance for her.
In a recent Instagram post, Eala mentioned that her W25 Roehampton tournament victory coincided with her parents celebrating their silver anniversary.
“My 4th ITF pro title! Just in time for my parents’ 25th anniversary,” Eala wrote on her caption.
“25 years of love, guidance and endless support! Congratulations mom and dad. We love you 
,” she added.
Eala secured the crown with a stunning 6-2, 6-3 victory over Australia’s Arina Rodionova in the Sunday night finals at the National Tennis Centre in Great Britain.
At 18 years old, Eala clinched her second championship of the season, marking her fourth career title on the International Tennis Federation Women’s World Tennis Tour.
