Anthony Davis Might Miss 2-4 Weeks Due to Finger Injury
New Orleans Pelican Anthony Davis won’t be around for 2 to 4 weeks due to a sprained index finger injury which he had gotten last weekend in a loss against the Portland Trail Blazers.
According to his agent Rich Paul, Davis’ injury might be more serious than they thought and the athlete is set to see a hand specialist in fear of suffering a volar plate avulsion fracture in his left index finger.
Davis’ absence will surely be felt by the Pelicans. The New Orleans star is averaging 29.3 points, 13.3 rebounds and 4.4 assists for his team. With a 22-25 record, the Pelicans are currently not in the list of the Western Conference playoffs.
Without Davis, the Pelicans will try to get a win on Thursday (Manila time) against the Detroit Pistons. (Janiel Abby Toralba)
