Anthony Edwards became a trending topic on social media on Monday after he exploded for 34 points to carry Team USA past Germany in an exhibition game.
Social media users were in awe of Edwards’ breath-taking performance, and even LeBron James posted on X to express his admiration for Edwards.
“[Ant] man cooking!! That boy,” James wrote on his post.
With Edwards’ heroics, the Americans bounced back from a 16-point deficit to frustrate Germany. Team USA finished their five exhibition games with a perfect 5-0 record.
Team USA will face New Zealand, Greece, and Jordan for their group stage assignments in the World Cup. (MJD)
