A decider match on Tuesday will dictate if the Arellano University Lady Chiefs will cement their reign or the University of Perpetual Help System Dalta Lady Altas will complete the grand slam of their alma mater in the NCAA season 94 women’s volleyball finals.

The Lady Chiefs survived the thrilling 5-set game last Friday extending the series to a win-or-go home game today. They defeated the Lady Altas 23-25, 25-9, 25-18, 22-25, 15-12 in Game 2.

A collective effort from the Legarda-based squad showcased why they are the defending champions of the league. Season MVP Nicole Ebuen scored 18 points, Princess Bello fired 18 points, Carla Donato had 13 points and Regine Arocha got 12 for Arellano.

While for the Lady Altas, only Cindy Imbo tallied a double-digit number for Perpetual with 18 points. Imbo’s heroics were not enough to take the championship just yet.

The Game 3 of the NCAA Season 94 women’s volleyball Finals will see action 3:30pm at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
