Balkman is looking for Santos

Since tapping the services of Renaldo Balkman and Justin Brownlee, Alab Pilipinas is on a roll in the Asean Basketball League (ABL).

Balkman and Brownlee have been instrumental in turning the fortunes of the Pinoy squad after a forgettable 0-3 start in the regional basketball league.

But aside from helping the Jimmy Alapag-helmed squad win games, Balkman has another mission on hand.

The once-fiery San Miguel import got involved in horrendous choking incident with then teammate Arwind Santos. For this, Balkman got a lifetime ban from the PBA.

This time around, however, Balkman is reportedly looking for Santos to apologize for what happened.

A report by ABS CBN Sports saying the Beerman has sent his regards gives Balkman hope that he will be able to reconnect with Santos.

In fact he wants to reunite with his former teammate as soon as possible in person and not just through text messages.

“Arwind, I’m looking for you man. If you get this message man, I’m down here. Now you know that one day we’d go out for lunch or dinner, anything that you want to do. Let’s talk,” Balkman said.
