Batak! This is how Ricci Rivero became athletic
Ricci Rivero owes his athleticism and high-leaping ability to his multiple sports.
Aside from basketball, Rivero has tried a couple of sports like taekwondo and volleyball according to his Instagram post.
However, what made the UP Maroons star really the athlete that he is today is his hard work and perseverance right before he was discovered in Isabela.
“I did a lot of sports when I was younger, from taekwondo, to volleyball, and eventually found my way to basketball,” Rivero wrote.
The champion journey wasn’t easy but with perseverance and handwork, I was able to reach my champion dreams.

Everything started here in Isabela. This is where I started to dream big to become champion and it’s overwhelming to be back where my champion journey started. I did a lot of sports when I was younger, from taekwondo, to volleyball, and eventually found my way to basketball. The champion journey wasn’t easy but with perseverance and handwork, I was able to reach my champion dreams. MILO has been a part of my daily habits as an athlete, -it’s my go-to drink for the champion energy I needed to make it through every practice and every game. I know I still have a long way to go but as I continue to work on my basketball skills, I know that MILO will always be my only champion partner in this champion journey. A glass of MILO is just what I need to have the champion energy to pursue my training even if I’m here at home. It tastes even better now with its new Milo champion formula that’s made with more milk and more champion energy nutrients. Kaya no wonder MILO, is the choice of champions! How about you guys? What’s your MILO champion story? #MiloChoiceOfChampions
