Battle for the crown: NCAA Finals Game 2, Perpetual Lady Altas vs Arellano Lady Chiefs

It will be an all-out war between the University of Perpetual Help System Dalta Lady Altas and Arellano University Lady Chiefs in the Game 2 of the NCAA women’s volleyball finals on Friday at the FilOil Flying V Center, San Juan.

The Lady Altas won the first game 21-25, 25-17, 25-21, 25-20 in the best-of-three championship series last Friday. They are one win away from being hailed as the new queens of NCAA volleyball and ending the title drought of their team.

Perpetual head coach Macky Carino will make sure that their team will even make their performance better than they did on Game 1.

He also shared how his team is very excited for the game. He told his team to focus more on enjoying the moments instead of being pressured. He believes in the abilities of his players Cindy Imbo, Necelle Gual, Shyra Umandal and Jhona Rosal.

Meanwhile, the Arellano Lady Chiefs will try to extend the series to defend their crown. Head coach Obey Javier needs more effort from his veteran players Regine Arocha and Necole Ebuen to keep their hopes alive for their own three-peat campaign.
