Bilog Ang Bola! Rudy Gobert scores first and last basket in first-ever NBA game restart
Life can really go full circle.
Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert was heavily-blamed for the season stoppage on March after he tested positive for the coronavirus, few hours after he didn’t take the deadly virus seriously during the pre-game media interview.
However, the French tower made a redemption of sorts when he scored the first bucket in the first-ever game of the NBA season restart inside the Disney World bubble.
Another irony is that it was also Gobert who scored the final basket via a go-ahead free throw against the New Orleans Pelicans, which gave the Jazz a 106-104 victory.
In hindsight I think we should all be thankful of @rudygobert27. Not many in this country were taking CoViD-19 seriously. That only happened when the NBA was the first sports league to postpone their season.

Gobert would finish the game with 14 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks.
