Blackwater taps Stephon Blair, sends Jameel McKay home
Blackwater has acquired a new import in Stephon Blair after sending Jameel McKay home even before he could see action in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup.
Blair, a former University of Central Florida stalwart, will take over the spot of McKay, who hasn’t suited up yet for the team after replacing Alex Stepheson.
Blackwater said McKay is not in playing shape and had been outplayed in practice most of the time by former UAAP MVP Rabeh Al-Hussaini.
McKay was supposed to replace the ailing Stepheson.
Blair was left out during the 2016 NBA draft and took his act to Belgium, Slovenia, and just recently in Portugal.
