Robert Bolick’s professional debut is already up in the books, and it came with flying colors.

Bolick dropped 26 points in an impressive 10-of-12 shooting to lead the NorthPort Batang Pier dispatched the Blackwater Elite, 117-91, last Wednesday in the PBA Philippine Cup on the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Right after the game, the former San Beda star acknowledged the trust and support of his teammates.

Sobrang swerte ko as a player na ganito kaagad ‘yung napuntahan kong team,” said Bolick.

Bolick specified NorthPort star guard and MVP runner up Stanley Pringle, whom he said really helped during his transition period.

“Napaka-humble, napaka-simpleng tao. Lagi niya ako kinakausap at sinasabihan na just play your game. Napakaswerte kong tao na dito ako napunta,” he added.

After a scintillating pro debut, the 23-year-old combo guard vowed to work harder as he sets his eyes on the league’s tougher teams.
