Brooklyn Heats Up In OT, Beats Atlanta
Brooklyn Nets leaned on Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant and James Harden in the overtime period as they cruise to a 132-128 victory over the Atlanta Hawks in the 2020-2021 NBA Season on Wednesday at Atlanta, Georgia.
The Nets surged to a 127-121 upperhand in the extension period with back-to-back layups by Irving and conversions from Durant.
The Hawks rallied to within 126-129 with under a minute left and even had a chance to tie it but misfired. Free throws by Harden and Durant sealed the win for Brooklyn.
Durant finished the match with 32 points, Harden added 31 points, 15 assists and eight rebounds, while Irving contributed 26 markers for the Nets, which improved to 12-8.
Trae Young finished with double-double 28 points and 11 assists, Cam Reddish added 24 markers, while John Collins contributed 21 markers for the 9-9 Hawks.
