A collegiate basketball player reportedly left his university following an allowance dispute and an alleged locker room incident involving his head coach.
According to a Buzzard, the player, who helped the school win two championships, requested an increase in his reported monthly allowance of P40,000.
The Buzzard added that the player’s request came despite being sidelined by an injury that kept him out of several preseason tournaments.
It also alleged that the head coach indirectly called out the player in the locker room, saying he was “not even playing and asking for more money.”
The alleged incident reportedly played a role in the player’s decision to leave the university.
As of posting, neither the university, the head coach, nor the player has publicly commented on or confirmed the allegations. (By the Staff)
