After a trembling 0-2 PBA Philippine Cup opener, the TNT KaTropa now transformed into the deadly team it should be.

The KaTropa now have garnered their fourth straight win by easily beating Alaska Aces, 92-78, Friday evening at the Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City.

And for its franchise player Jayson Castro, it has been the team’s new mantra of unselfishness that is doing the most damage.

“Maganda especially ‘yung defense namin. At the same time yung chemistry ng team nakukuha na namin tsaka siguro yung pagiging unselfish ng team kasi nama-maximize namin yung lahat ng talent ng team namin,” said Castro.

“Parang walang star player talaga, doon ako masayang-masaya.”

TNT’s surge improved their record to 6-3, which means that they still have a shot at one of the Top Two spots for the quarterfinals that merits a win-once advantage.

While its already assured of a spot in the playoffs, TNT will look to continue its streak against Columbian on Friday to build a strong case for the twice-to-beat incentive.
