Charlotte stuns Brooklyn for 3-0 start in NBA 21-22


Charlotte Hornets had its best start in franchise history after a 111-95 domination over slumping Brooklyn Nets in the 2021-2022 NBA Season on Sunday at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Miles Bridges led the way with 32 points and nine rebounds, while LaMelo Ball and Ishmael Smith added 18 and 15 points, respectively, as the Hornets surged to a 3-0 start in the season.

Down by 50-58 at the half, the Hornets went on a rampage in the third quarter to take the lead before widening it to double-figures in the fourth behind clutch hits from Bridges and Smith.

Kevin Durant top-scored with 38 points, while James Harden had 15 points, eight rebounds and eight assists as the Nets slumped to 1-2 win-loss slate.

Meanwhile, Orlando Magic notched its first win of the season after three games following a come-from-behind 110-104 win over New York Knicks (2-1).

Cole Anthony led the Magic with 29 points, 16 rebounds and eight assists, while Terrence Ross came off the bench to add 22 markers.

Seth Curry, on the other hand, connected seven triples to finish with 28 points as the Philadelphia 76ers (2-1) prevailed over Oklahoma City Thunder (0-3), 115-103.
