China league bans former NBA player for posting lewd pics
The Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) has banned former NBA journeyman Ty Lawson after posting lewd pictures with Chinese woman.
The former Denver Nuggets guard first uploaded a post on Instagram story objectifying Chinese female by comparing their behind to a ‘cake’.
Lawson did not stop from there, as he also uploaded a pic of him with a stripper who apparently gave him a lap dance.
The Fujian Sturgeon was not pleased with their player’s action, saying that the team would not renew Lawson’s contract
“His inappropriate words are inconsistent with the social responsibilities and values abided by our club and have brought serious adverse social impacts to the club and the league. We will not sign him for the new season,” the Sturgeon stated.
