‘Church vs State rivalry’ UP-UST matchup a real deal according to UAAP Commissioner
There is a rivalry in UAAP basketball tournament that is way more anticipated than ever this Season 82.
Unfortunately, the classic Ateneo-La Salle duel has run its course this year in exchange of UST-UP matchup.
According to UAAP Commissioner Rebo Saguisag, it was either the Tigers or Maroon who draws a large crowd of attendance every time they took action.
The “Church vs State” affair also had its fair share of hype and attendance.
The games with the highest attendance in #UAAPSeason82 so far had either UP or UST in it.
And now…they face each other…in the postseason….on a Sunday.

Things will be much interesting and fun for UST and UP, especially that they will face for the first time in the Final Four contest.
The Growling Tigers knocked off FEU Tamaraws on Wednesday in an 81-71 triumph to face the twice-to-beat Fighting Maroons in the next round of stepladder torunament.
