The Cignal HD Spikers have fortified their defense with the addition of libero Angela Nunag as a guest player for the Premier Volleyball League Invitational conference.
The HD Spikers were able to obtain the defensive specialist for the mid-season conference following the decision of the Army Lady Troopers to take a leave of absence.
The 31-year-old Nunag is the second member of the Lady Troopers to be loaned to the HD Spikers, aside from Jovelyn Gonzaga.
The 5-foot-3 Nunag, a former standout at Rizal Technological University, will serve as a backup libero to Angelique Dionela at Cignal.
Cignal HD is slotted in Group A along with Akari Power Chargers, Chery Tiggo Crossovers, Creamline Cool Smashers, Quezon City Gerflor Defenders, and PLDT High Speed Hitters.
