‘Clarkson deserves an All Star spot over AD’ – Charles Barkley
This one is definitely a hot take from Charles Barkley.
The 1993 NBA MVP said on “NBA on TNT” that Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson deserves an All Star spot over Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis.
“He’s been the best bench player in the NBA this year, got the best record in the NBA,” said Barkley.
“Most people don’t notice that. He’s been fantastic this year that’s why I put him on my list.”
Barkley explained that AD didn’t play enough games for him to be considered as an All Star, unlike the Filipino-American baller who is having a fantastic season off the bench for the Jazz.
“Is Anthony Davis a better player? Yes. But he did not play like an All-Star this year,” said Barkley.
"You're comparing him to himself, you've got to compare him to the field."
