Converge bombed NorthPort with 21 three-pointers to complete a 113-84 manhandling and close its PBA on Tour campaign with a win on Friday.
At least seven FiberXers contributed to the shooting spree, with Adrian Wong accounting for seven treys.
Wong went 7-of-11 from beyond the arc to finish with 23 points on top of five assists and three rebounds.
Matt Nieto and Jeron Teng rifled in four triples each, combining for 36 points. Kevin Racal added three treys, while Macjour Luib, Kevin Ebona, and Keith Zaldivar added one each.
In contrast, NorthPort could only answer with 8-of-31 three-pointers.
Aside from the treys, the FiberXers also dominated in other departments.
Justin Arana piled up double-double numbers with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Nieto came close to a triple-double with 19 points, 13 rebounds, and seven assists, while Luib dished out 10 assists that went with five markers and five rebounds.
With the victory, Converge ended its campaign with a 6-5 record, good for sixth place.
Meanwhile, the Batang Pier fell to 5-6.
Mike Ayaay had 19 points, John Michael Calma had 18, and Paul Zamar added 17 for NorthPort.
