Cuajao looks for career restart with DSLU green archers

After being sparingly used in his rookie season with the University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers, Vince Deo Cuajao looks for a career restart with the De La Salle University Green Archers.
Cuajao said in an interview with Fastbreak on Tuesday that he is excited to learn from Green Archers head coach Frederick “Derrick” Pumaren and is looking forward to helping the team in its UAAP title aspirations.
“I see this as a new challenge for me and I am also excited to learn the system of Manong Derrick,” Cuajao said.
Cuajao also said that playing a factor in his decision to move to the Green Archers despite receiving offers from other UAAP-based schools was its backer Atty Manases Carpio, who is a fellow Davaoeno.
“Playing a factor sa decision ko to choose La Salle is Davaoeno ang manager nila, si Atty Manases Carpio,” Cuajao said.
Just like fellow DLSU transferee Mark Nonoy, Cuajao admitted that it was not easy for him to leave the Growling Tigers due to the school’s huge support even if he rarely plays in his rookie year.
