Devin Booker replaces Anthony Davis in All Star Game
Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker has been officially named as a replacement for injured Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis in the All Star Game.
NBA Commissioner Adam Silver hand picked Booker after he was snubbed by league coaches in the All Star selection.
Davis was originally picked as a reserve, but he is currently sidelined with an Achilles injury.
Making it as an All Star replacement in second straight seasons, Booker has been averaging 24.7 points, 4.3 assists, 3.8 rebounds, while shooting a career-high 50.1% from the field.
Booker and fellow All Star teammate Chris Paul has also been leading the Suns to a 20-10 record, fourth best in Western Conference.
