Di Makatulog sa Gabi sa Kaiisip! Eya Laure vents frustration on NU loss
No one hates losing more than Eya Laure.
Which is why Laure lost her sleep when the UST Golden Tigresses failed to close out the game in five sets against the NU Bulldogs in the opening game.
“Last game kasi medyo hindi ako nakatulog ng maayos. Parang sayang,” the 20-year-old outside hitter confessed.
As an athlete who is used to winning, Laure knew that she should move forward to the next game ahead of her.
Sunday’s game against the FEU Lady Tamaraws was the perfect time for the younger Laure to exact revenge together with the Golden Tigresses.
Indeed, UST just handed FEU a three-set beatdown thanks to Laure’s team-high 16-point and 14-dig effort.
For Laure, she was happy to see her teammates thriving towards their empathic victory.
Of course, it wasn’t just Laure who took the blame for the team’s loss which is why she credited her teammates for being in the same page during the game.
The Season 81 runner-up has yet to scratch the surface this season, and the redemption season continues for the Golden Tigresses as long as they continue to improve every game.
“Kaya kahit papaano, gagawin talaga namin at pupunan namin ‘yung pagkukulang namin,” Laure assured.
