Alex Eala rallied past third-seed Arianne Hartono of the Netherlands on Saturday to march her way to the W25 Roehampton finals at the National Tennis Centre in Great Britain.
It will be the second final of the year for the 18-year-old after dropping Hartono, 7-6(4), 2-6, 6-1, in two hours and 31 minutes.
Eala has set a title showdown with Australian second seed and World No. 166 Arina Rodionova, who defeated British fourth seed Yuriko Lily Miyazaki, 4-6, 7-5, 6-3, in the other semis pairing.
She has achieved three victories over Australians in her singles campaign, beginning with a 6-3, 6-4 triumph that eliminated World No. 781 qualifier Gabriella Da Silva Fick.
The 2022 US Open Juniors singles winner then ousted World No. 289 Destanee Aiava in the second round, 3-6, 7-5, 6-3, and 201st-ranked top seed Priscilla Hon in the quarterfinals, 6-2, 6-4.
The W25 Roehampton offers $25,000 in prize money.
