Ex-NBA player Kyle Singler posts troubling videos, accuses coach Mike Krzyzewski of abandoning him

FORMER NBA player Kyle Singler has drawn renewed concern over his well-being after posting a series of troubling videos on social media recently.

Singler, 38, uploaded several videos on Instagram, again appealing to his former Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski for help while making a series of claims about his living situation and treatment by others.

In one video, Singler alleged that Krzyzewski had “set me up” and said he had no power or home. He also claimed that his attempts to contact his former coach had been ignored.

Singler further alleged that people were entering his home, taking his money and trying to ruin his life.

The posts have renewed concerns surrounding Singler, who previously sparked similar worries in November 2024 when he released a video saying he felt unsafe and believed he was being mistreated and neglected.

“I feel like my voice is getting silenced,” Singler said at the time, adding that he feared for his life.

Several former NBA players, including Kevin Love, expressed support for Singler following those posts, particularly in light of the former forward’s comments about his mental health and safety.

Singler has since removed his earlier social media posts. His latest videos, however, have once again prompted questions about his current condition.

Singler played college basketball at Duke under Krzyzewski before embarking on a professional career that included a stint with Real Madrid during the 2011 NBA lockout.

He later spent six seasons in the NBA before returning to Spain for another season and retiring from professional basketball in 2019. (Adrian Co)
