Ex-UST Tigers congratulate Louie Vigil on PBA draft

They may be playing on opposing PBA teams now, but these former Growling Tigers have something to look back as a Tomasian.

Kevin Ferrer, Aljon Mariano and Ed Daquioag assembled at the PBA draft to welcome and greet their former teammate Louie Vigil at the tip off of his pro-basketball career.

Vigil’s debut in the professional league started after being selected by the San Miguel Beermen with their second round fifth pick at the 2017 PBA draft.

The UST forward was supposed to join the 2016 rookie draft, but decided to stay in University of Santo Tomas to maximize his fifth year in the UAAP.

Pba rookie draft 2017! Congrats to our bro Louie Vigil! #brosforlife #tigers🐯
