F2 coach Regine Diego hopeful Myla Pablo healthy to play ahead of semis

F2 Logistics clinched a semifinal berth after beating Army-Black Mamba last Saturday in the 2023 Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference at the Filoil EcoOil Centre, even without their star player, Myla Pablo.

Pablo was sidelined after she suffered cramps during their game against Choco Mucho last week.

F2 head coach Regine Diego is optimistic about their hitter’s chances of making a recovery in time for the upcoming semifinals, scheduled to commence on Saturday, March 18th.

“For now, we’re just resting her. She still has some checkups, but she can walk, as you can see, she can run. So I’m very hopeful that she can still come back in the semifinals, but for now, we’re taking it day by day,” said Diego.

Even though Pablo is vital for their playoff run, Diego emphasized that the team’s priority is the health of their players.

“So we need to check on her every day to make sure she can come back safely because their health is our priority now more than winning a game,” she quipped.

“Even if we lose, as long as there are no injuries, it’s still a win for us.” (Mark Patriarca)
