F2 Logistics keeps perfect slate

F2 Logistics routed Cignal HD in straight sets 25-22, 25-13, 25-12 to notch its six straight win in the Chooks to Go-PSL Grand Prix at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

American Kennedy Lyn Bryan and Maria Jose Perez of Venezuela turned in 17 points apiece to lead the Cargo Movers to the top of the team standings. Kim Fajardo added nine markers. Beth Louise Carey and Alexis Matthews tallied seven points each for Cignal which was totally outclassed by the inspired play of the Cargo Movers.

The HD Spikers suffered their fourth loss in six games. It also proved costly as Cignal ace Jovelyn Gonzaga went down to a knee injury in the second set with F2 up by a set and leading 21-13. Gonzaga hurt her right knee on a bad landing after her spike attempt was blocked by Bryan.

The national team mainstay was stretchered off the court and was rushed to the hospital.
