Following a tightly contested battle between the Petro Gazz Angels and F2 Logistics Cargo Movers in the Premier Volleyball League Invitational on Thursday, Petro Gazz Angels head coach Oliver Almadro received unfavorable treatment from the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers players.
After the exhilarating five-set victory of the Angels over the Cargo Movers,
Almadro graciously approached the
F2 players for a sportsmanship handshake. Unfortunately, his gesture was met with disappointment, as all of the players snubbed him.

The incident left volleyball fans divided, with social media comments expressing strong criticism towards the Cargo Movers players, accusing them of being sore losers.
“Not a fan of Coach O dahil sa pangit na systema niya but it doesn’t necessarily mean that players can disrespectful him like that. Madaming nangyare sa game especially 5th set and walang kasalanan don si coach O since committee talaga ang nasusunod.”
“Huy. Anong behefyur yan F2 Gels? Kahit naman ganyan si Coach OA, may respeto pa din dapat.”
“The design is very disrespectful, alam kong panget ng system ni coach o but there should be a respect pa rin dapat.”

However, some netizens defended the actions of the F2 Logistics players, suggesting that their decision to snub Almadro may have been influenced by his alleged shouting at them during the game.
