F2’s Aby Maraño criticizes PVL’s erroneous officiating: ‘Para tayong nasa inter-barangay’

F2 Logistics Cargo Movers veteran Abigail Maraño openly expressed her frustration regarding the numerous officiating errors that took place during their match against the Petro Gazz Angels in the Premier Volleyball League Invitational on Thursday afternoon. Despite their valiant efforts, the team suffered a 25-20, 22-25, 12-25, 35-33, and 9-15 defeat.

Taking to Twitter, the former De La Salle University Lady Spikers star expressed her anger towards the referees’ inconsistent decisions, particularly during the pivotal fifth set of the match.

“Hindi ko gets bakit may rules pa for challenge tapos hindi naman pala gagamitin. Papalitan kung kelan lang gusto. Biglang io-over rule. Tapos malinaw usapan namin ng two refs walang gagalawin sa score, good ball lang daw tapos anyare? Para tayong nasa inter-barangay kung ganito,” Maraño said.

The officiating during the fifth set of the Cargo Movers-Angels game on Thursday afternoon sparked a heated debate on social media, with the majority of netizens arguing that F2 Logistics experienced unfair officiating decisions.
