Falcons snap two-game skid behind Ahanmisi

Jerrick Ahanmisi and Papi Sarr carried the Adamson University past National University, 69-58, in the UAAP Season 81 men’s basketball tournament at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City Wednesday.

After their two-game slump, the Soaring Falcons quickly showed their dominance in the game, leading the Bulldogs all throughout the match.

Adamson head coach Franz Pumaren told reporters that their back-to-back losses was ‘mind-boggling.’

“Those two games that we lost, it was just mind-boggling. It was like a pothole. We are still going to continue with this journey. We just had to play consistent basketball,” Pumaren said.

Bulldogs’ super rookie Dave Ildefonso was the lone brightspot with 21 points and six rebounds.

NU slipped to 2-6 while Adamson improved to 6-2, tied with the defending champions, Ateneo de Manila Blue Eagles.
