An employee at a restaurant in Iloilo couldn’t hold back tears after meeting her idol, Jia Morado-de Guzman.
Gametime Sports shared the heartwarming encounter between Jia and her fan when the Creamline star visited Iloilo to donate shoes to local athletes.
According to the Facebook post, the restaurant employee named Alecx became emotional while taking a photo with Morado-de Guzman.
“The staff named Alecx had a picture with Jia and cried. Jia hugged her and told her, ‘Tama na, iiyak din ako’,” the post stated.
“We went there to have lunch but we never thought that this thing would happen. Sports always inspires! Sports brings happiness and Jia made that happen.”
Alecx also shared a photo with Jia on Twitter, expressing how the PVL’s best setter made her day extra special. (Mark Patriarca)
