Fan saves Kyrie Irving jersey from fire
This fan was able to save his Kyrie Irving jersey from their burning house.
In an Instagram post by a user named @fahad.suave, he was able to share his story on how Kyrie’s jersey survived from a fire in their home.
Eventually, the Brooklyn Nets reached out to him and he was able to have his jersey signed by “Uncle Drew” himself.
“The only thing that I was able to recover was a kyrie Irving jersey. I posted this picture to twitter and received much support from Brooklyn Nets fans and I was given tickets to a game,” he wrote.

Recently I had a house fire causing me and my family to lose our house and belongings in the house. The only thing that I was able to recover was a kyrie Irving jersey. I posted this picture to twitter and received much support from Brooklyn Nets fans and I was given tickets to a game. That game I was able to meet @spencerdinwiddie who came and talked to me as well. That game was the same day of when the fire happened so it was a great way for me to get my mind off things. At the game I also brought the kyrie Irving jersey I recovered and brought it to a man who works for the Brooklyn Nets organization and he told me “Kyrie Irving wants to sign the jersey”. I gave him the jersey and three weeks later I see @rocnationsports @sportscenter post the jersey. Just wanted to say thank you to @poochbrooklyn @brooklynnetsdaily @brooklynnets @spencerdinwiddie @kyrieirving for everything. Appreciate the support❤️🙏🏽 !
