FEU lives for another day; dispatches Adamson sans Manganti and Ahanmisi

The Tamaraws are still alive in this tournament.

FEU swept the Adamson Soaring Falcons, in the UAAP Season 81 men’s basketball tournament at the Mall of Asia Arena on Sunday, November 18.

Adamson decided to sit out Jerrick Ahanmisi and Sean Manganti to recover from their minor injuries.

FEU capitalized on the absence of two Adamson stars, leading by as much as 13 in the first period, 21-8.

The Tamaraws were too determined to boost their playoff bid, as the onslaught continued for the Tamaraws, even owning a 32-point advantage in the fourth period.

Wendell Comboy led the Tams with 11 points and four rebounds, while Arvin Tolentino and Hubert Cani added 10 apiece.

With that win, FEU set up a knock-out showdown against La Salle on Wednesday for the remaining spot in the Final Four..

Jerom Lastimosa was the lone double-digit for the Soaring Falcons with 11 points

Adamson slipped to 10-4 card although they are already playoff-bound this November 25 against the third-seed UP Fighting Maroons.
