Fresh from their FIFA Women’s World Cup stint, the Philippine women’s national football team paid Gilas Pilipinas a visit during the latter’s training session on Friday.
In a series of photos posted by the Samahang Basketball ng Pilipinas on its social media page, coach Chot Reyes and the nationals were shown welcoming the Filipinas, led by striker Sarina Bolden and goalkeeper Olivia McDaniel.
The Filipinas recently made history by scoring an epic first victory for the Philippines in the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Gilas, made up of basketball stars including Jordan Clarkson, June Mar Fajardo, Dwight Ramos, Kai Sotto, and EJ Edu, are busy preparing for the upcoming FIBA World Cup later this month.
