‘Fun To Watch’ Justin Brownlee gets thrilled on NCAA Finals game
Watching the do-or-die Game 3 Finals between Letran and San Beda live was certainly a treat for Justin Brownlee.
The Ginebra enforcer was spotted at the Letran side alongside SMC Sports Director Alfrancis Chua, and he had his thoughts about the championship game.
“Man, very exciting. Both teams, they played really hard and definitely a competitive game,” Brownlee said.
As for the Letran Knights, who captured their 18th overall men’s basketball title, Brownlee was simply impressed with how the team played overall.
“Letran, they showed a great heart and teamwork out there. It’s very exciting watching them play. They definitely played hard and aggressive,” he shared.
“They seem to have a great bond with each other, so hopefully they continue to win.”
Aside from the duel itself, it was the 19,976 fans that convinced Brownlee that Philippine college basketball is just simply fun to watch.
“Definitely the crowd, they come out here to support the schools. Great support.”
“The crowd and the fans — they made the fame more exciting, but just watching the players and seeing how they compete — it’s very fun to watch.”
