Hours before Gilas Pilipinas faced Tunisia in their classification match in the 2019 Fiba World Cup in China, Robert Bolick took to Twitter and made a bold prediction: “We will win tonight.”

But after the game, Gilas remains winless and fell to Tunisia 67-85.

After the loss, netizens were quick to ask Bolick, “Anyare?”

The loss took away the Philippines’ shot at Asia’s outright 2020 Tokyo Olympics slot.

Andray Blatche had 24 points and 11 rebounds but no other Gilas player scored in double figures.

Troy Rosario had with 8 points on 3-of-6 shooting Kiefer Ravena scored 5 points on a dismal 1 of 5 shooting clip.

More bad news for Gilas is that it will play Iran in its last game for the classification match. A loss will relegate the Philippines to the cellar of the 32-team tournament.
