Gretchen Ho Gave Away Bikes to No Work-No Pay Employees
In unprecedented times, supporting one another means a lot.
That’s why in the celebration of the 2020 World Bicycle Day, Gretchen Ho lends her hand to two no work-no pay employees by giving them bicycles for their daily transportation needs.
Beyond the pandemic, the disorder, and the heavy weight that the society is placing upon the most vulnerable sector, people like Ho just want to pull together and help others. With the new normal, here’s her simple way to promote solidarity and rightful compassion.

I know there’s been so much stress over bike lanes & transport issues.. but here’s some #Happinews for today’s #WorldBicycleDay: Gave away bikes to two no work-no pay employees: Nanay Claire is a lady guard who stopped working kasi hindi niya raw kaya yung 4-hour one-way walk to work mula San Mateo hanggang Novaliches. 12 hours duty tapos 4 hour walk ulit. Imposible. Pero ngayon, may bisikleta na siya kaya makakatrabaho na siya ulit!! Rufino, on the other hand, is a merchandiser at a supermarket. As a frontliner, wala siyang tigil sa trabaho simula nung quarantine, kaya naman kailangan maglakad mula Caloocan hanggang Quezon City.
